Insurance and claims
- Do you work with my insurance company?
- Yes. We accept all claims and work with all insurance companies. Tell your insurer you've chosen Gold Coast Collision Center, and we'll take it from there.
- Do I have to use the shop my insurer recommends?
- Florida's Department of Financial Services advises that you have the right to select the repair shop (DFS consumer guide). Check your policy, and ask us if your insurer pushes a specific shop. If you want Gold Coast Collision Center, tell the insurer when you open the claim.
- What if the accident was the other driver's fault?
- We work third-party claims too. The other driver's insurer handles the estimate and payment; we handle the repair and the paperwork the same way.
- What is a supplement?
- A revised estimate for damage found after the first one. We take the damaged area apart before writing the estimate, so supplements cover what truly could not be seen.
- Do I pay you or the insurer?
- On a claim under your own policy (first-party), you pay your deductible to us at pickup. On a third-party claim against the at-fault driver's insurer, you usually don't pay a deductible. The insurer pays us the rest directly, or pays you and you pay us, depending on how the claim was set up. More in First-party vs third-party auto claims in Florida.

Parts, paint and warranty
- Do you use OEM parts?
- We push for them on every repair. Whether your policy pays for OEM parts depends on its terms. We ask for OEM, document why, and tell you what was approved before work starts.
- Will the paint match?
- We spray test cards against the car in daylight and blend the new paint into the adjacent panels so there is no visible edge.
- What warranty do I get?
- A lifetime warranty on all work, collision and mechanical. You get the written terms with your estimate.
- How long will the repair take?
- It depends on the damage and parts availability. We give you a date after teardown, when we know everything the car needs, and update you if a part is delayed.
The shop
- Do you only work on exotic cars?
- No. We repair every car, including Hondas, Minis, SUVs and trucks. The exotics you see in our photos prove the standard we hold every repair to.
- Where are you and when are you open?

- Are you a dealer body shop?
- No. We are an independent shop, not affiliated with or authorized by any automaker, and not tied to any insurer's network.
PorscheWorks (mechanical)
- What is PorscheWorks?
- Our mechanical repair division, in the same building: diagnostics, maintenance and repair on Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, BMW, Land Rover/Range Rover, Mercedes-AMG and comparable European cars, with the same lifetime warranty.
- Will servicing my car at an independent shop void my factory warranty?
- No, not by itself. Federal law says a manufacturer can't void your warranty only because an independent shop did your maintenance or repairs. Keep your records; we give you itemized invoices for every visit.
- My car was in an accident and now has mechanical problems. Can you fix both?
- Yes. Gold Coast Collision Center does the body and paint, and PorscheWorks handles the mechanical side, all under one roof and one lifetime warranty.
